Modernizing and improving our education systemPublished on October 22, 2018
Consultations are now opened for parents
Our Progressive Conservative government promised one of the most robust and inclusive consultations in Ontario’s history, so that we can develop a modern and appropriate schooling program for our children.
We want to hear from you on a number of subjects, including improving our kids’ math scores, improving financial literacy, preparing for the jobs of today and tomorrow, updating the health and physical education curriculum to cover age-appropriate topics, and increasing students’ interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
How you can participate:
- Online survey – visit http://fortheparents.ca
- Open submission form - visit http://fortheparents.ca
- Telephone townhalls organized across every region in Ontario. The Ottawa region townhalls will be October 24 (English), October 30 (French), and November 2 (English). Visit http://fortheparents.ca to register for one of these telephone townhall sessions.
Each of these consultations will be run by the professional and non-partisan public servants from the Ministry of Education.
